Bat Your (Car's) Eyelashes!

How adorable are these?! My aunt sent me an email the other day, saying that you can purchase eyelashes for your car. I've never seen these on the road before, and of course I have a lash addiction, so I was very intrigued by the idea. I know they look silly, but I couldn't stop smiling when I saw these photos!!

What do you guys think? Would you let your car wear lashes? HA! =)

Stila Convertible Color Blush & Lipstick

So after my NARS Orgasm fiasco (two blushes breaking one after the other) I decided to try something else just for the hell of it. I haven't heard much about this product, therefore it was just a shot in the dark that I would actually like it. And I did!

The color is a good match for my skin - like a chalky-pink, and the texture is smooth and glides on easily. I'm not a huge fan of using it on my lips (as the product suggests), so I think i'll just stick with using it for my cheeks.

I've been experimenting with different ways to blend (which i'll admit, i'm not great at) and i've found the best way to use it is to blend with your fingers in a circular motion on the apples of your cheeks. It looks the most natural that way, since I don't like blush that is very bright and stands out...should look more like flushed cheeks.

Gaga for Lashes

So stoked!! As many of you know, I am obsessed with any and everything LASHES.

I bought these babies at Rickys in NYC and cannot wait to wear them! I'm going to see Lady Gaga on Saturday, and thought they were perfect for the occasion. I always see fantasy lashes that are so beautiful, but think to myself "when will I wear these?" Well, I think a Gaga concert works, right? I'll try posting photos after I apply them, wish me luck!

Oh yeah, and super happy today that I got a promotion at work!!! Thanks for all the support dolls!

As a fan of Gaga, I was extremely excited to know that she would be revealing her new song, Born This Way, and new album art this Friday. Well, seems that she couldn't wait any longer, because here is the single cover!

The extreme winged-eye & dark menacing lips, accompanied by wild, wind-blown hair gives Gaga a space-aged/other worldly look that is pretty awesome!

Kate Walsh Creates a BOYFRIEND

SO much fun! I was fortunate enough to attend an industry party for the launch of Kate Walsh's new fragrance - BOYFRIEND. On February 2nd, Kate (Grey's Anatomy & Private Practice bombshell) debuted her "inspired by a man, made for a woman" perfume at Sephora in Soho.

I know what some of you are thinking - ANOTHER celebrity fragrance, right? However, I think this one is different. It has a fun & playful story behind it, and doesn't just have a celebrity name slapped on the front. From Kate's website:

Welcome to Boyfriend, an intoxicating new romance...with a fragrance! woot, woot!

Ever miss the scent of your boyfriend on your skin? That warm, woody scent that makes your eyes roll and wanna put on a red dress? The gorgeous and very gracious Walsh thanked her dedicated team for helping BOYFRIEND come to fruition, which was over a year of hard work in the making. Waitresses walked around in white button-down "boyfriend" shirts serving champagne, while plaid-clad male models doused guests with the scent. Walsh also hinted at "continuing" the BOYFRIEND story...perhaps more/different "boyfriends" on the horizon?

ORGASM FAIL

Yeah, you read that right. NARS Orgasm Blush:


OK so I am being a bit of a Pissy Polly today. I have been a big fan of NARS Orgasm blush for years now. Nothing else seems to compare. I like the color, texture, slight shimmer, lasting impact, etc.

Recently, I replenished my blush because I ran out. A week later, I go to put on my makeup for work and....what do you know....the blush is SHATTERED. UGH!!! So being the genius I am, I go to use it anyway and created a blushy war-zone in my bathroom. Yikes, right?

So if that wasn't bad enough, I went to purchase a replacement. Today, I open the 2nd NARS Blush (as seen above) and this one is broken too! WTF NARS?! I would try blaming it on an outside source, like ohhh the weather is cold so maybe that's why it broke...but none of my other powders or makeup seem to be effected. In addition, NARS isn't exactly cheap, therefore I'm pissed that two items in a row were defective.

Have you guys experienced anything similar? Or should I be considering another blush?
