I got this for Christmas and think it's just adorable. I don't know that I would have bought it for myself, but now that I have it it looks so cute on my perfume shelf! The scent is very fruity and sweet...I kinda feel like Katy Perry might actually smell like it haha! It really is a cute gift for any kitty lover =)

Madonna's Material Girl line of clothing has been doing pretty well. So what better way to make it more profitable than to add beauty products?!

I'm impressed with the glosses and especially the nail polishes - how cute! I think tween/teen girls will go wild for this stuff. I saw this on cocoperez.com and wanted to share with you guys.

The famous mother/daughter team will launch the beauty products August 15th.

Futuristic Fragrance Ads 2011

I'm seeing a pattern in new fragrance ads for 2011. Seems that many companies are going with a futuristic/cosmic approach to their advertising. Here are a few:

New Eva Mendes ad for Thierry Mugler.

She looks hot, but photoshopped to the high heavens...

Beyonce's new fragrance, Pulse.

Is it just me, or does this look a lot like the Thierry ad above?

Night Jewel by Jill Stuart.

The bottom of the ad reminds me of constellations.

Bottle is pretty too.

Vanitas by Versace.

Very dramatic, but then again it's Versace.

Tom Ford Grey Vetiver

If you're looking for a sexy scent for your boyfriend or husband, this is it. This woody and sophisticated fragrance is almost too good. I'm usually not a big fan of strong men's fragrances, but this one gets my seal of approval. It's unique, one of those scents that when a man walks by an overwhelming sense of "ahhhh" and "swoon" comes to mind. Though it's not cheap ($85 US) it's totally worth it.

Over, Over-Exposed

OK, so I’m admittedly a reality show fiend…that is not news. But come ON guys, how many beauty launches is this family going to churn out? First it was Kim K’s perfume, then her makeup line, their skincare line (PerfectSkin), and about a billion other endorsement deals.

Now Khloe and Lamar have a unisex fragrance out called Unbreakable. When will the insanity end? Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t dare miss the Kardashians or Kourtney & Kim Take New York (as embarrassing as that is…) but even I have a breaking point, and that is getting beauty products shoved in my face with KARDASHIANS sprawled across the front.

Am I being harsh? Do you guys have some interest in Khloe’s new fragrance endeavor?

Paris vs. Gwen

Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers Fragrances - launched in 2008

Look familiar? Paris Hilton is launching (yet another) line of juices, which look very familiar to Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers, which was launched in 2008. I know they aren't EXACTLY the same, but I feel like the general concept is very similar.

What do you guys think, does it look like Paris ripped off Gwen's idea? Or are they just different enough?

Mariah Carey has decided to expand her fragrance empire and come out with a new line of fragrances called "Lollipop Bling." OK, not trying to be a jerk (maybe a little bit) but aren't you getting a bit too old for LOLLIPOPS AND KITTENS AND BUTTERFLIES AND PINK THINGS!!!!

Before everyone starts hating me, I don't HATE the idea. I actually think it could have an audience. But for her, I think it's a bit ridiculous. If someone in the "tweenage" was behind this - think Taylor Swift/Selena Gomez-type chicks, then I think it would make more sense.

What do you guys think? Anyone want to pick one up?

Marc Jacobs Daisy & Marc Jacobs Lola - solid perfume rings!

The inside!

I'm in love with solid perfume rings! Marc Jacobs made both of these so beautiful - more like art pieces. I get so many compliments on them and they are so fun to wear. I have to confess though - I don't want to use the actual perfume because I don't want to mess them up! But I do smell them often.

If you are in New York tomorrow, November 16th at 11am, and are a Katy Perry fan, then join the PURRADE!

Katy has joined the ranks of many other celebrities and is launching her first fragrance called PURR. The adorable bottle is shaped like, what else, a kitty!

It will be sold exclusively at Nordstrom stores starting this month. This one might actually be worth buying dolls. I love kittens, and this bottle is just too cute! I've always admired Katy's sexy style and sense of fun, i'm sure her fragrance will be delicious =) What do you guys think?

Just like seemingly EVERY celebrity out there, Rihanna is coming out with her own fragrance "Reb'l Fleur." Loving the bottle, very unique, just like the singer!

Lady Gaga to Have a Fragrance?

Let the licensing games begin. Word on the webs this morning has it that the ubiquitous Lady Gaga will embark on olfactory domination by inking a deal to produce an eponymous fragrance with cosmetics company Coty. Rumor has it that the fragrance will be "unusual" (uh, no way, quelle surprise) and is scheduled to hit stores this holiday season, bolstered by a heavy dose of ads, marketing, and television commercials.

Hola! Perfumes from Overseas

I love perfumes. I have more bottles than I can count! Whenever one of my friends or family members goes overseas (I live in the US), I always ask them to pick me up a local perfume or makeup item. I love experiencing things from other countries, and comparing them to what I have. My father went on a business trip, and brought me back these treasures from Mexico - two womens and one mens. Enjoy!

Natura - Humor!

I think this bottle is so beautiful! It's so dainty and elegant, it has earned one of the coveted "front" spots in my perfume "display." The scent is fruity and juicy - very sweet and light for daytime in my opinion. It's youthful and pretty, just like the bottle! =)

Natura - Amor America

I think the bottle is different - a cute little teardrop shape. This scent is definitely more...mature. I don't think it was meant for my age, but hey, my dad picked me up a few gifts so i'm not complaining! =) It's very spicey and musky - a nighttime fragrance for sure.

Zermat - Player

My first mens fragrance! I've bought a few mens fragrances for my boyfriend, but this is MY first mens fragrance. OK, so it's STRONG. Like...STRONGGGG. But it smells amazing! I can't explain it very well. It's one of those scents that you have to spray in the air and walk through - quickly! It's very alluring and sexy - sure to make a lasting impression!
